  1. Excellent question. I would most likely write, because writing makes me happy when I have the time to do it. I think my second act will involve writing poems … And reading and reviewing fantasy & science fiction. Ideas come from everywhere, so I would want to read from as many cultural traditions as possible, in as many languages as I could learn. And I would travel. Into space if that becomes an option in my lifetime.

  2. I think that I would enjoy owning a bookstore even though the number of independent bookstores is decreasing. Also, I would like to start a blog to review books.

  3. Simple. Hire a Barn Manager for my farm. Write. Drink better wine. So, less farm work and mouth swooning reds. In other words, not much different at all!

  4. I would want to go all around the world and teach people how to read. Once I’ve helped people learn how to read I would want to build a library for them.

  5. This is such an awesome question! I’d want to be a fantasy/ya writer, get my pilot’s license (but only fly for fun), spend many years in school learning ancient languages (and a few modern ones), learn as many crafts as I could, and spend time working with different nonprofits, especially those working to end human trafficking. Hopefully I’ll do all of these someday

  6. I would be a professor at various colleges around the world; I wouldn’t stay in one place too long. During the summer’s whatever college I would be currently working at would fund my research. As for my research I would like to focus on Mesoamerica and conduct several dig sites. All of this is for anthropology; which I would be teaching about during school sessions. :) So in summary I would be a world traveler, giving lectures on Mesoamerica, spreading more awareness about it. As well as learning and contributing to other area’s of anthropoloical studies all over.

  7. I would probably divide my time between being a brain researcher (and lab manager!) and a children’s book illustrator (keeping it as real as possible…).

  8. I would want to own my dream farm and raise animals (which I kind of already do but not as a full-time job and not with my ideal property). Also I would love to own a greenhouse & nursery and grow/sell weird plants!
