Not much in the way of fascinating news this week, I’m afraid. Maybe everyone’s been outside enjoying the warm weather while it lasts! I can’t say I blame them, if they did so.
* Only a few days left to donate a dollar or two to the Kidney Foundation of Canada for your chance to win 5 books and a handmade bookmark from a local artist. If you have even a single dollar to spare, please consider donating it for a good cause.
* R T Kaelin has been kind enough to offer a signed copy of his novel Progeny. US/Canada residents only, no following required. The giveaway is running until August 1st, so don’t miss your chance to submit your name!
This coming week should see a return of all the features you know and love here, including finding out the books I acquired this week, and another edition of Bibliobabble. A few most posts are planned for other games that I’d love to see turned into books, too.
As for reviews, expect a review of Teresa Frohock’s Miserere: an Autumn Tale, and Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One. With a little luck, I should also be able to get out reviews of Wayne Barlowe’s God’s Demon (I know I was supposed to do this last week…) and Courtney Schafer’s The Whitefire Crossing, too. Fingers crossed for me to put down my other projects so that I can get back to the same level of obsessive reading that I demonstrated earlier this month!
Happy reading, everyone!
