30 Days of Genre – Day 15

(See the intro post for all the daily themes.)

Well, here we are at the half-way point of the meme, and I’ve got to say, thus far things are going better than I could have possibly hoped. I expected myself to do this meme, maybe one or two other people who habitually read this blog, but not for it to have gotten the reception it did. People are doing this meme of message boards, my hits per day have more than doubled, and even someone at freaking Tor promoted it on Facebook! I just wish I had ideas like this more often!

But anyway, on to today’s theme!

Day 15 – The cover from your current (or most recent) genre read.

The most recent genre book I finished was China Mieville’s Un Lun Dun, the review for which will come out tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to writing up the review, actually, because it was such a fun book to read.

As for what I’m reading right now? I’m in the middle of two books. One I read while I’m on the bus to work, or on my breaks and my lunch. (That would be Jane Yolen and Midori Snyder’s Except the Queen.) The other I’m reading at home on my computer. (K. J. Parker’s The Hammer.)
